The Kiddowall name, logo, graphic design, and all original content on this website are the exclusive property of Franck Maudet / Kiddowall. Any reproduction, distribution, modification, adaptation, retransmission, or publication of any of these elements, even partial, without the prior written consent of the publisher, is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement of copyright.

Open-source components used by Kiddowall are subject to their respective licenses (MIT, Apache 2.0, etc.), the full list of which is available in the project repository.

"iOS", "iPhone", "iPad", and "Apple" are registered trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the United States and other countries. Kiddowall is an independent product not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple Inc.

4. Limitation of Liability

Kiddowall is a parental control tool designed to help parents monitor and manage their children's device usage. However, Kiddowall cannot guarantee absolute protection against all inappropriate content or all risks online.

Kiddowall shall not be liable for:

  • Interruptions in service due to maintenance, technical failures, or events beyond our control (force majeure).
  • Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the service.
  • Content accessible through the devices of monitored children that bypasses or circumvents Kiddowall's filtering mechanisms.
  • Actions taken or not taken by parents based on information provided by the Kiddowall platform.

Kiddowall's total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the service shall not exceed the amounts paid by the user in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €10 for free plan users).

5. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

This legal notice and all disputes arising from the use of the Kiddowall website and service are governed by French law, including:

  • Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and freedoms (Loi Informatique et Libertés), as amended
  • Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
  • Law No. 2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on confidence in the digital economy (LCEN)
  • The French Consumer Code (Code de la consommation)

In the event of a dispute that cannot be resolved amicably, the competent courts of Lille (France) shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer protection law provides otherwise.

6. Terms of Use

By accessing and using Kiddowall, you agree to the following terms:

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to use Kiddowall.
  • Account security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Lawful use: You agree to use Kiddowall only for lawful parental monitoring purposes in accordance with applicable law. You may not use the service to monitor individuals without their knowledge in violation of privacy laws.
  • Parental responsibility: You confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the children whose devices you enroll and that you have the legal authority to deploy parental control software on those devices.
  • Prohibited activities: You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from any part of the Kiddowall platform, or use the service for any purpose other than lawful parental control.

Kiddowall reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
